Club Celebrates 100 years

Town Crier opened the celebrations

What a splendid centenary launch it was, bathed in the warm glow of the shining sun! The day commenced with Melksham Town Crier ringing her bell to herald the start of a momentous occasion.

The grand flag-raising ceremony, a symbol of pride and unity that set the tone for the festivities to come. Following this proud moment, the entire club gathered for a historic team photograph, displaying our new club colours and capturing the essence of a century’s worth of memories and achievements.

As noon approached, appetites were whetted with a hearty lunch and amidst the clinking of glasses and laughter, friendships were strengthened and bonds forged over shared meals and fond reminiscences.

But the highlight of the day was undoubtedly the friendly game, where banter and rivalry took center stage. With each playful exchange and competitive challenge, the spirit of camaraderie thrived, reminding all present of the joy that comes from friendly competition.
