Spencer Melksham Celebrating 100 Years

It is the responsibility of the Home Drawn player (Challenger) to make contact to arrange a date for the fixture, however it was agreed at the AGM that both parties can contact each other if they are aware of any dates (National/County game/holidays) they cannot make to perhaps speed up the process. There are certain rules to follow.

The Home Drawn player (Challenger):

  • Must offer 3 dates at least 10 days before the closing of the round. If no date is offered by then, the away player becomes the challenger and can offer one date for the game to be played.
  • Of the three dates offered at least one must be a weekend. Weekdays no times before 18:00 can be offered unless accepted by both players. Weekends no time before 10:30 can be offered.
  • No date can be changed unless 48 hours’ notice is given unless and must be agreed by both parties.
  • These rules are in line with National and County competitions. You may not offer any dates which clash with League, National and county competitions in which your opponent may be competing.

In the case of any disputes please contact Club Competition Manager.
